After successfully completing his PhD in Cancer Biology at the University of Zurich, Akshay Kumar Ahuja joined the Zurich Children’s Hospital as a postdoctoral scientist to work on tissue engineering. At the hospital, working closely with a colleague founding a startup, he discovered his aptitude for business development.
Putting together his skills and assets, he found the job that was really fitting him. In March 2019, he joined ThermoFisher as account manager, supporting researchers in academia and pushing research to the next level.
During this Career Chat, Dr. Akshay Kumar Ahuja will share some tips on how to identify your strengths and use them to lead your career. He will also discuss his experience at ThermoFisher Scientific as an account manager.
