Aiming to expand the horizons of young scientists in pursuit of a career as well as increasing their network, the Zurich Life Science Day brings together around 800 young scientists every year. In two parallel sessions with around 20 presentations, the participants gain an insight into careers in industry, academia, consulting, non-governmental positions, start-up companies and others. During breaks between sessions, companies sponsoring the event with a booth have the opportunity to meet the most talented young scientists in the country at the heart of the event; the company exhibition. Likewise, attendees looking to see what the various life science sectors have to offer can take the chance to speak with representatives from exciting young start ups, established international names and everything in between!
If you are a life science related company looking to gain visibility among the next generation of Scientists and leaders, we invite you to join the next Zurich Life Science Day:
- as a Company exhibitor
- as a Sponsor
- by Giving a presentation
If these opportunities interest you, Please contact us for more details info@lszysn.ch

Every year, we organise the Zurich Life Science Week to help Master, PhD and Post doc graduates be prepared to find a job outside of academia. Over five evenings, expert coaches will teach a small group of 20 participants key aspects of carrier management, the DO’s and DON’T’s of job interviews and how to build a strong LinkedIn profile. Participants will also discover how the hidden labour market works and the importance of self-marketing. Dynamic interaction with the coaches and exercises will provide the tools to prepare participants for successful job applications.
