Are you thinking about making a transition from academic research to industry?
Farma Industria Ticino, the association of chemical and pharmaceutical industries in the Swiss canton of Ticino, represents the largest hub of Ticino-based companies in the field. Currently, Farma Industria Ticino counts 29 member companies, with a combined manpower of approximately 2900 employees. Its main area of interest is to promote collaboration and exchange of knowledge and expertise among the sector in Switzerland. Farma Industria Ticino is moreover committed to offering trainings and introductory courses to young scientists, with the aim of aiding them in their career paths.
We are happy to welcome Dr Gabriel Haering, CEO at Cerbios –member company of Farma Industria Ticino, for our upcoming Career Chat on January 15th 2019.
Dr Haering will give an outline of his personal success story, from his beginnings as PhD student at ETH until his current position as CEO at Cerbios. He will also touch upon job opporturnities in Ticino, with special attention to internships and trainings offered by the member companies of the Farma Industria Ticino Hub.
