Young Scientists: We are preparing the day for you!

Our participants have the opportunity to take advantage of many exclusive offers, including CV checks, professional CV photo, and informal One-on-One meetings with company representatives.

Most importantly you will have plenty of chances to build your own personal network and discuss career paths in your field of interest. You are free to do so spontaneously at the booths directly, or in the setting of scheduled One-on-One meetings where you will meet virtually with company representatives for a short talk. This intimate environment allows for a relaxed interaction between both parties and a more in depth discussion of the candidates’ career prospects within the company.

Direct interaction with companies representatives

24 companies joined us for the virtual 2021 edition! During our full-day booth exhibition, participants have the opportunity of meeting all of them and interacting with their representatives.

Job wall

Job offers are collected from all attending companies and displayed during the day on our Job Wall.

CV checks

Consists of private 15 min meetings with employees from UZH Career Services and Arbeitsamt Zürich, who will give advice on how to improve your CV to get on the career ladder. You can select the desired time slot during the registration for this sub-event. Please bring a printed version of your CV.

One-on-One meetings

Consists of private 15 min meetings with company representatives. You can select the desired company and time slot during the registration for this sub-event. Keep an eye out as time slots with some companies may open up later. Please bring a printed version of your CV to give to representatives.

Professional business photo

Photos will be taken by a professional photographer: Steven Kohl. The CV photos will not be taken on the day of the vZLSD22, but another day that will be announced soon. You can select the desired time slot during the registration for this sub-event. The professional business photo has a 50% discounted fee (you pay only 25 CHF), to be paid online.

Slots for CV checks, One-on-One meetings and professional business photos have booked out quickly in previous years. Sub-event booking is done separately to the main event, on the same webpage and opens at a designated date that will be advertised. If you are unable to get your desired appointment, keep an eye out for cancellations. Please plan your day properly and consider the times of the talks you wish to attend when placing your booking.
