Young Scientists: We are preparing the day for you!

Our participants have the opportunity to take advantage of many exclusive offers, including CV checks, professional CV photos, and informal 1-on-1 meetings with company representatives. Most importantly you will have plenty of chances to build your own personal network and discuss career paths in your field of interest. You are free to do so spontaneously at the virtual booths directly, or in the setting of scheduled 1-on-1 meetings where company representatives can connect directly with selected students for a short talk. This intimate environment allows for a relaxed interaction between both parties and a more in depth discussion of the candidates’ career prospects within the company. This dual approach guarantees a constant flow of participants through the company booths throughout the entire day and has been met with great enthusiasm and feedback in the past editions of the ZLSD.

Direct interaction with companies representatives

45 companies joined us for the 2020 edition! During our full-day Booth Exhibition, participants have the opportunity of meeting all of them and interacting with their representatives. This year in a virtual way.

CV checks

Consists of private 15 min meetings with employees from UZH Career Services and Arbeitsamt Zürich, who will give advice on how to improve your CV to get on the career ladder. You can select the desired time slot during the day at the CV check virtual booth.

1-on-1 meetings

Consists of private 15 min meetings with company representatives. You can select the desired company and time slot during the day at the time slots provided at the companies virtual booth.

Professional business photo

Photos will be taken by a professional photographer: Steven Kohl. You can select the desired time slot during upon CV-photo registration and can attend the photo sessions two different days in a location at University of Zurich.  The professional business photo has a 50% discounted fee (you pay only 25 CHF on the scheduled day).
