Our participants have the opportunity to take advantage of many exclusive offers, including CV checks, professional CV photo headshots, and informal 1-to-1 meetings with company representatives.
Most importantly you will have plenty of chances to build your own personal network and discuss about career paths in your field of interest. You are free to do so spontaneously during the breaks at the booths directly, or in the setting of scheduled 1-to-1 meetings where company representatives can sit down with selected students for a short talk. This intimate environment allows for a relaxed interaction between both parties and a more in depth discussion of the candidates career prospects within the company. This dual approach guarantees a constant flow of participants through the company stands throughout the entire day and has been met with great enthusiasm and feedback in the past editions of the ZLSD.
Direct interaction with companies representatives
32 companies joined us last edition 2018! During our full-day Booth Exhibition, participants have the opportunity of meeting all of them and interact with their representatives.

Job offers are collected from all attending companies and displayed during the day on our Job Wall.
CV checks
Consists of private 20 min meetings with employees from UZH Career Services and Arbeitsamt Zürich, who will give advice on how to improve your CV to get on the career ladder. You can select the desired time slot during the registration for this sub-event. Please bring a printed version of your CV.
1-to-1 meetings
Consists of private 20 min meetings with company representatives. You can select the desired company and time slot during the registration for this sub-event. Keep an eye out as time slots with some companies may open up later. Please bring a printed version of your CV to give to representitives.
Professional business photo
Photos will be taken by a professional photographer. We had the pleasure of having Steven Kohlas our photographer for last two editions of the ZLSD. You can select the desired time slot during the registration for this sub-event.* The professional business photo has a small fee (approximately 25 CHF), to be paid online. Photos will be available to download a few days after the event.
Slots for CV checks, 1-to-1 meetings and professional bussiness photo have booked out quickly in previous years. Sub-event booking is done separately to the main event and is usually opened in January. If you are unable to get your desired appointment, keep an eye out for cancellations. Please plan your day properly and consider the times of the talks you wish to attend when placing your booking.
