Vanessa is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Zurich in Prof. Dr. Cordula Haas's Forensic Genetics Research Group. She focuses on projects that identify the time since deposition (TsD) of a crime-related stain, as well as single-cell sequencing methods for stain distributor and body fluid identification. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, doing sports, or reading a good book.
