Clelia holds both a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Milan. After completing her studies, she spent a year at Policlinico di Milano, focusing on pancreatic cancer research, where she gained valuable experience in oncological research and its clinical applications. In late 2022, Clelia began her Ph.D. at the University Hospital of Zurich, joining the research group of Dr. Ralph Fritsch. Her research centers on investigating acquired resistance in BRAFV600E metastatic colorectal cancer, with the goal of advancing therapeutic strategies. Beyond the lab, Clelia is a passionate traveler who embraces diverse cultures and broadens her perspectives. When she’s not exploring new places, you might find her trekking, bouldering, or skiing in the Swiss mountains—or, on a more relaxed day, enjoying an Aperol Spritz with friends.
