Therese Triemer, PhD

Therese Triemer (born 1987) studied Chemistry at the Free University of Berlin, Germany, and at Oxford University (UK) and received her Master degree with the highest honor in 2011. She then joined the Life Science Graduate School in 2012 and is now persuing her doctoral studies in the field of Molecular Life Sciences in the group of Prof. Nathan Luedtke at the University of Zurich. In her thesis she evaluates the “Immortal Strand Hypothesis” in zebrafish and studies how stem cells distribute their DNA upon division into their daughter cells. In her leisure time Therese is passionate about hiking.
