Marc Bachofner, born 1987 in Zurich, studied Biology at the ETH Zurich and obtained his Master’s degree with distinction in 2012. That same year, he joined the Molecular Life Sciences program at the Life Science Graduate school of Zurich. He is currently performing his PhD studies in the group of Sabine Werner on growth factor signaling during liver regeneration. He enjoys planning, organizing and working in teams, he is very active in a local athletics club and is eager to tackle new and unmet challenges.
