Wiebke Mildenberger, M.Sc.

Wiebke obtained her MSc in the field of Disease Biology in 2017 at the University of Konstanz in Germany. During this time, she made an internship at the University of Zurich (Institute of Experimental Immunology) and afterwards she was convinced to come back to the Institute to make her doctoral studies. In the beginning of 2018 Wiebke started with her PhD in the group of Prof. Dr. Melanie Greter at the Institute of Experimental Immunology. Her work is focused on the development and maintenance of an elusive brain macrophage population and their function for the neurovascular unit (NVU).
In her spare time, Wiebke enjoys doing sports, traveling and reading thriller.
