Valentine has a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Industrial Engineering School of Nancy. During her master studies, she took a year off and joined the Allanore Group research lab at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She worked in close contact with a company to develop a sustainable extraction process of potassium from rocks to produce an alternative potash fertilizer. In 2016, she joined Sanofi on a one-year work-study contract for her master’s project. She was part of the manufacturing department of an active pharmaceutical ingredient, daily following and improving the production process. In December 2017, she started her Ph.D. studies in pharmaceutical sciences at ETH Zürich. She is working on the development of 3D printed oral devices in the laboratory of Prof. Jean-Christophe Leroux. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and sports in general, reading and traveling. Valentine joined the LSZYSN network in January 2020.
