Paula holds a BSc in Biopharmaceutical Science from Leiden University in the Netherlands, as well as a MMSc in Toxicology from Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. During her studies, she became fascinated by the underlying mechanisms of immunological regulation, which led her to join the MIM program at the University of Zurich in 2023. In the Hennet lab, Paula is now researching the regulatory effect of glycosylation on immune cell activation. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, and practicing archery.
