Niculò did his Bachelor's as well as part of his Master's Degree in Immunology and Microbiology at the ETH Zurich, Switzerland, before moving to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to complete his Master Thesis in the field of malaria research. In the beginning of 2019, he then re-joined the laboratory of Prof. Annette Oxenius at the ETH Zurich to start his PhD focusing on asymmetric cell division and fate decision of CD8 T cells.
In his leisure time he enjoys trying out all different kinds of sports as well as spending as much time in nature as possible.
