Ludovica received her MSc in Biomedical engineering at Politecnico di Milano in April 2018. In July 2018 she started her PhD studies in the lab of Prof. Dr. Lienkamp in Freiburg (DE), and she moved along to Switzerland in March 2019. In Zurich, she helped setting up the new lab at the Institute of Anatomy and with her PhD project she investigates the influence of the microenvironment on the formation of an in vitro kidney tubule model. In her free time, she likes to dance semba and salsa, she enjoys hiking and doing sports, and she also loves cooking.
