Karolina is a PhD candidate in the Drug Discovery PhD program (DDNZ), working on pain mechanisms in the Neuropharmacology group at the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology, UZH. She graduated with Bachelor degree in Neuroscience from the Jagiellonian Univeristy in Krakow, Poland. Then, she moved to Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm to do the Master Degree in Biomedicine. During that time, Karolina joined the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Oxford for her master thesis project. In 2017, she started her PhD studies at UZH. She joined the Network in 2018. In her free time, Karolina enjoys brunches, books and travelling.
