Johanna obtained her MSc in Biochemistry and Biophysics in 2018 at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg. During her Master’s degree, Johanna worked at Fraunhofer IPM developing optical systems and imaging methods which can be used to analyze surfaces and 3D structures in industrial production. Later on, she worked as a research trainee at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg working with super-resolution techniques.
In 2018, she started her PhD studies at the ETH Zurich. She works in the laboratory of Dr. Viola Vogel in the Institute of Translational Medicine with primary immune cells.
End of 2018 Johanna joined the network. In her free time, Johanna enjoys travelling, doing sport and reading.
