Joaquin got his bachelors Degree in Biotechnology at University of Quilmes in 2012. Then he joined the Downstream Team at mabXience, where he worked as a Production Analyst. In 2013 he was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship, and moved to New York for a MS in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at St. John’s University. In New York he worked for the biotech start-up Symbiotic Health as a Research Scientist, where nowadays still works as a Process Consultant. Driven by a big passion for oncology research, he moved in 2015 to Zurich in order to do a PhD in Cancer Biology at University of Zurich, with special focus on bone sarcomas. He became part of the LSYZSN by the end of 2016. In his free time, he loves reading, watching football matches and travelling.
