Elisabeth holds a M.Sc. in Neuroscience from University of Rotterdam and recently finished her PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research in Frankfurt, Germany. In June 2020 she joined the Institute of Neuroinformatics at the ETH/UZH. During her postdoctoral research she builds on her previous work on learning and memory now combining it with insight from computational models and novel techniques like miniature microscopes. In her spare time Elisabeth enjoys being outdoor (hiking and cycling) and swing dancing.
