Daniel finished his training as a medical doctor in Peru in 2012 and worked as a research assistant in the field of Tropical Medicine. Interested in doing research in the interaction between the immune system and pathogens, he moved to Switzerland and obtained a Master in Immunology at University of Zürich in 2016. In March 2017, he started his PhD at ETH Zürich focusing on Gut Mucosal Immunology. He joined the Network in March 2019 and he is working in the Career Chats and Mindset teams. During leisure time, he enjoys reading spy novels, dancing and playing videogames.
