Curriculum vitae

Clara studied Pharmacy at the Université Paris Descartes and focused her Pharmacy thesis on the regulatory framework of phage therapy. During her Masters, she specialized in Genetics and worked at the Institut Cochin on neuronal migration during embryonic development before going to Addenbrooke’s hospital (Cambridge, UK) to study the role of the SNATs amino-acid transporters in the control of fetal growth. After the teaching hospital year at Saint Louis Hospital (Paris) during which she worked at the technology transfer office and at the cell therapy unit, she integrated the Molecular and Translational Biomedicine PhD program in Zürich. She is now part of Pr Zenobi-Wong’ lab, her research aiming at optimizing a new biomaterial to repair cartilage defects. Clara’s hobbies include cooking, singing and drawing.
