Claire obtained her Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the KU Leuven in Belgium, followed by a Master's in Drug Development. During that time, she spent a semester at the Université Paris Descartes. She continued with a second Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences to become a licensed pharmacist. After finishing her studies in 2020, she was accepted for a Ph.D. position in THERADNET, a Horizon 2020 Marie-Curie ITN, focusing on experimental radio-oncology. Therefore, she moved to Switzerland to pursue her research at the Laboratory of Prof. Dr. Martin Pruschy. She is currently working on combined treatment modalities to overcome hypoxia-driven radioresistance. In her leisure time, Claire enjoys going to the lake and the mountains.
