Cesare received his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering at Campus Biomedico di Roma, Italy. He then received his M.Sc in Biomedical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano which gave him the opportunity to attend the Monaghan Lab, Trinity College Dublin, to work his master thesis on mesenchymal stem cells metabolism. To date, he is enrolled in the Cancer Biology PhD program working under Philochem AG, owned by Prof. Dr. Dario Neri, in affiliation with University of Zurich. Cesare is currently working in the in-vitro and in-vivo characterization of novel antibody fusion proteins that selectively target solid tumors and solicit the host’s immune system.

Cesare is a former rugby player who enjoys any sport and outdoor activities. Since he is from Italy, he has been fascinated by the art of making the perfect pizza and loves cooking typical dishes from his hometown Rome.
