As a trained veterinarian, Arnav earned his PhD in Animal Genetics from the Indian Veterinary Research Institute in 2021. His research focused on understanding the host genetic response to the Classical Swine Fever virus vaccine. During his doctoral studies, he recieved a World Bank-funded scholarship, enabling him to spend three months with the Animal Genomics group at ETH Zurich. Arnav has continued his work there as a PostDoc since 2021, delving into the genetic mechanisms behind gastrointestinal diseases in livestock using cutting-edge bioinformatics approaches. Beyond his commitment to LSZYSN, Arnav is also an active member of AVETH Postdoc+ and MeWell.
