Anuja Neve, PhD

Anuja completed her Masters in Molecular Genetics from the University of Leicester. After having worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, University of Oxford, Anuja pursued a PhD in Neurobiology from the University of Bern. She successfully completed her study on an orphan neuromuscular disorder: Spinal Muscular Atrophy, with distinction in 2014. With a keen interest in clinical and translational research, she is currently working in the Neuro-oncology group at the University Children’s Research Hospital, Zurich. Her project aims at establishing a novel ex vivo model that can be used as a pre-clinical platform to study and target dissemination in one of the most common pediatric brain tumor, medulloblastoma. Anuja joined the network in August 2015 and is currently an active member of the Career Chat, Zurich Life Science Week, Company Visits and Bench to Business teams. Her passion is to support the education of underprivileged children and her hobbies include travelling, cooking and reading.
