Andreia is Portuguese and did her Bachelor studies in Biology in Lisbon and Siena. She moved to Switzerland in 2010 to do research in Cell Biology, followed by a master on the same topic at ETH Zurich. To challenge herself, she became an intern in two startup companies: InSphero and Glycovaxyn. Now she is a PhD student at ETH Zurich, working on tissue engineering and mechanobiology. Her passions are dance and travelling.
