Svenja Rotter

Svenja originally started her professional life in the chemical industry before she studied biochemistry at Freie Universität Berlin. She obtained her MSc degree in 2020 after focusing on molecular tumor pathology research during her thesis at Charité Berlin. During her studies she spent time abroad for research internships at the University of Iceland and McGill University. She then decided to move to Zürich for her PhD, joining the Life Science Zurich Graduate School Cancer Biology program, where she is studying the role of the endothelium in cancer metastasis. In her free time, Svenja enjoys hiking, photography and social activities.
