Marvin obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry at the University of Freiburg, Germany. After finishing his master’s degree in September 2020, he joined the Life Science Zurich Graduate School as a PhD student in the Laboratory for Applied Radiobiology headed by Prof. Dr. Martin Pruschy. He also is an Early Stage Researcher of THERADNET, a Horizon 2020 Marie-Curie ITN. In his PhD studies, he investigates the impact of ionizing radiation on the metabolism of normal and tumor cells in the brain. In his leisure time, Marvin enjoys sports, in particular football, cycling, and snowboarding.
