Manon obtained both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Life Sciences Engineering, specializing in Cellular and Molecular Engineering, from EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) in Switzerland. For her Master’s thesis, she conducted research at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard, where she engineered nanobodies as therapeutic agents with vaccinal effects, targeting malaria and autoimmune diseases. Following this, she chose to pursue a PhD in Zürich at the University Hospital Zürich's Laboratory of Molecular Neuro-Oncology, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Michael Weller and Dr. Dr. Tobias Weiss. Her doctoral research focuses on developing next-generation cell-based immunotherapies for malignant brain tumors. Outside of her research, Manon enjoys outdoor activities with friends, particularly running and mountain sports such as ski touring, hiking, and mountaineering
