Hongruyu (Holly) is a PhD student in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Institut für Epidemiologie, Biostatistik und Prävention, part of the Life Science Zurich Graduate School, working on causal inference for personalized treatments. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Beijing Normal University in China. She then moved to Switzerland to pursue a Master's degree in Data Science at ETH Zürich. In the spring of 2024, she started her PhD studies at the University of Zurich. In her free time, Hongruyu enjoys hiking, swimming as well as reading and cooking.
