  • Active member

Dalila holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Bari (Italy). During her Master’s thesis, she joined the lab of Prof. Kerschensteiner at LMU, Munich, where she broadened her knowledge and fostered personal growth. In 2019, Dalila joined the Life Science Zürich Graduate School and embarked on her PhD journey in Neuroscience at UZH. Guided by Prof. Adriano Aguzzi, she is investigating the mysteries of a-synuclein aggregation for potential Parkinson's treatments.
Beyond the lab coat, Dalila is a solo-travel enthusiast, immersing herself in diverse cultures and expanding her horizons. Lounging around isn't her style – catch her in action with bodybuilding, hiking, skiing, and occasional Latin dance. When it's time to unwind, you'll find her reading a thrilling novel or enjoying good food and wine in the company of close friends.
