MindSet

MindSet is an annual panel discussion which brings together experts from different parts of the world in order to debate about scientific topics of current social impact. We work hard all year to find the right topic and invite only the best experts on their fields to start a public debate on pressing topics that need our attention. It is a free event open to everyone, and our audience is always encouraged to be very interactive with the panelists.
Inform. Inspire. Initiate. That is Mindset – our event series.

Who wants to live forever? The Science, Ethics, and Business of Healthy Aging
It is no secret that we are living longer than ever before. Breakthroughs in science and technology have pushed the boundaries of human lifespan, offering a future filled with promise—and profound challenges. As our societies age, we face soaring healthcare costs, pressure on pension systems, and complex political and ethical dilemmas.
This begs the following question: Is longer life always better? Are we prepared for what comes next? Could the cure for aging bring consequences we are not ready to face?
Join us on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 for our annual MindSet Panel Discussion, where we will discuss all these questions and more with leading experts in ageing research and social policy:
- Prof. Dr. Mike Martin (Professor in Gerentopsychology and Gerentology & Director UZH Healthy Longevity Center)
- Dr. Anna Erat (Medical Expert in Prevention and Longevity & Advisory Board Member Longevity Science Foundation)
- Dr. Fabienne Skaanes (Ethics Expert)
- Shruti Singh (Economist)
Registration opens soon! We can't wait to see you there!
