Marie obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at the University of Tübingen. For her master studies she moved to Heidelberg and completed her M.Sc. in Molecular Biosciences with a focus in Cancer Biology at the German Cancer Research Center and University of Heidelberg. In 2022, Marie started her Ph.D. at the ETH in Zurich in the research group of Prof. Annette Oxenius. In her project she focuses on the metabolic programs promoting CD8 T cell exhaustion in chronic viral infections. Beyond the lab, Marie enjoys, travelling, reading, doing sports like going for a run, a yoga class or hiking in the swiss mountains and drinking Aperol Spritz with friends in the sun.
