Linda completed her studies in Medical Biotechnology in Milan, where she developed a strong passion for neuroscience and molecular biology. For her master’s thesis, she moved to Zurich to join Sebastian Jessberger’s lab at the Brain Research Institute, where she investigated how disease-associated genetic variants influence molecular programs in human neurons upon synaptic activation.
Following this experience, she had the opportunity to continue working in the same lab, where she is now expanding her research aiming to deepen the understanding of neuronal plasticity and its evolutionary aspects.
Outside the lab, Linda enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, swimming in the lake, and meeting new people.
