Jacqueline Kientsch is a PhD student in Molecular Life Sciences at the University of Zurich in the group of Prof. Dr. Stephan Neuhauss. She completed her MSc in Biomedicine at the University of Zurich, where she investigated lactate dynamics in retinal metabolism. Her current PhD research focuses on bioinformatics and transcriptomic analyses in various zebrafish disease models, with a particular emphasis on retinal diseases and the metabolic aspects of epilepsy. Outside of research, she enjoys playing the piano, running, climbing and snowboarding.
