Carmen obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biomedicine at the University of Zurich, focusing on molecular cancer research during her Master’s thesis. She is now pursuing a PhD in Cancer Biology at the Institute of Pathology and Molecular Pathology at the University Hospital Zurich, where she is studying the mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in sarcoma and how to overcome them. Outside the lab, she loves travelling, singing and spending time with friends.
