Blanda Beci completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biosciences and her Master’s degree in Molecular Biomedicine at the University of Münster. During her Master’s studies, she spent a semester at Umeå University in northern Sweden through the Erasmus program — getting to experience both cutting-edge science and truly deep snow. She is now pursuing a PhD in Biomedicine at the University of Zurich in the nephrology laboratory of Prof. Britta George, where her research focuses on monogenic kidney diseases. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time in the mountains.
