Sabine Urban studied Biology at the University of Münster (WWU, Germany) and the University of Hasselt (Belgium). During her studies she completed an internship at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland). Following her Master degree, Sabine completed an internship at the PR division of the German Cancer research center Heidelberg. In 2012 she joined the Life Science Graduate School Zürich and started her PhD in the group of Prof. Anne Müller. Sabine studies the molecular mechanism of the bacterium Helicobacter pylori preventing autoimmune diseases, like asthma. In her leisure time Sabine has a passion for tennis, climbing and traveling.
