Stephanie studied Veterinary Medicine at the University of Zurich from 2014 to 2020 where she investigated the role of post-translational modifications of blood proteins in pigs during her doctoral work. She then decided to complement her medical/clinical background with a more research-oriented education and joined the Life Science Zurich Graduate School as a PhD student at the Institute of Biochemistry at ETH Zurich. Currently, she is investigating the role of cell size in cell physiology and trying to determine why cells have a very specific and tightly regulated size. When not at the lab, Stephanie enjoys exploring the outdoors on her mountain bike or chasing wild animals with her camera.
