My name is Andrea and I hold a master degree from Biochemistry, which I obtained at the Charles University in Prague. During my studies I was granted a research project at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, where I spent half a year. Afterwards, in 2018, I have joined the Life Science Zurich Graduate School to become a PhD. student of the Cancer Biology Program. Currently, I work in the laboratory of Prof. Manuel Stucki, which is mainly focused on studying the mechanism of ribosomal DNA damage repair in the context of chromatin.
I my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, sports, nature and good wine.
